Hello everyone.

Today is an incredibly sad day. One full of pain, sorrow, and emptiness. It is that time of year where we all have heavy hearts as it marks the day some one we all truly love and care about deeply passed away. Our beautiful angel, Michael Jackson. I've been trying to keep it together since I am currently in Texas visiting with family, but it's hard. I miss him so much... we all do. Especially his family and friends. But there isn't a thing we can do and it makes me sadder. I've been dreading this date for awhile now as I'm sure we all have. I have to try and comfort myself with the knowledge that Michael is in fact in a better place. But again, that isn't always easy.

Now to say a few words about Michael himself...
Michael was a person who only comes around once. There will never be another person like him. He was unique in every way possible and in all the best ways. He had a pure heart made of gold. He truly cared for people and did what he could to help. He spoke once of helping a boy named Bela Farkas. The young boy was very sick, so sick that he was actually green. Michael instantly wanted to know what was wrong with such a sweet angel. Sure enough, the young boy needed a liver transplant, and soon, or he'd die. So Michael, being the amazing individual he was, did everything to get that boy a donor. He refused to let him die. Sure enough, a donor was found and the boy was saved. Michael was a true hero and a true genus. And I do not just mean in music, in other things as well. He was highly intelligent and very wise. People learned a lot from him. True... he was a musical genus as well. He wrote some of the best songs and recorded the best-selling album of all time! How's that for a win? He was highly in tune with music and knew what people wanted. He paved the road when it comes to music, in his own way. He tried things no one else did... he came up with things unimaginable and opened so many doors for others. So many people were inspired by him, even today.

It still bothers me today that after all this hard work he was never treated as he deserved to be. People used him and created so many lies about him, ruining his life. It's just not fair. He was not weird or crazy, he was fine, one of the most sane people around. He was hurt and kicked back down and each time he got back up. He was strong and sweet. He was always thinking of others and trying to heal our world. He wanted to bring awareness to these kinds of problems so that something would be done. He gave all he could and never asked for anything in return. He only wanted to be accepted for who he was and he should've been. He believed in peace and love as the most important things and he expressed that often.

Now that he's gone... it's bleaker. There's a strange void in my heart. I wonder if you all feel it like I do. I miss him so much, it hurts. It doesn't ever get better and I really don't think it ever will. I didn't know him but I felt like I did. When he left, we felt like we lost a close friend. I guess that's just the person he was.

My heart goes out to his friends and family, I know this isn't any easier for them and it never will be. Michael was an amazing person and we are very lucky to have had the pleasure of having him walk this Earth with us. He is still with us now, just in spirit. His legacy makes him immortal.

Rest in peace, Michael. We love you so much, I cannot express in enough words how much we adore you and thank you for all that you've done. Thank you for making this world a better place and showing me what is truly important. I hope you're having fun up there.
